We really enjoy working together and
with our community! Everything we do,
we do with LOVE ♡
Everything with LOVE.
Lettuce Grow Farms and Educational Center and the LGF HUBB are excited to announce that we have been given another opportunity to create a growing space that will empower local farmer/growers in the surrounding ares of Taos. We want to encourage others to grow food, to keep it local, reduce waste, price fairly, and help feed the hungry, all while caring for Mother Earth. We are joining in at the Old Blossoms property at 118 State Rd 240, Ranchos de Taos, NM.
As we begin this journey on land that is new to us, we have been doing a lot of observing as we have found this has always proved to be a valuable tool in our tool box. We would have placed so many things in places that may not have worked out so well in the past.
We have been working with the Town of Taos and Taos County in which we implemented an Intergraded Pest Management Plan for the use of Town and County when dealing with a pest on public lands. This means less spraying of pesticides and herbicides and other avenues are explored and tried before using a potentially harmful spray. We encourage our community to join in and do the same on your land.
Thank you all for your support of LGF over the last seven years. We look forward to exploring the new property and all that it has to offer. Hope to see you at the farm soon!
